I-Shou International School (IIS) is an IB World School offering the PYP, MYP and IB Diploma Programmes. Extensive co-curricular and athletic activities complement our academic programme. The I-Shou International School (IIS) faculty is fully committed to serving the needs of students and parents in our community. All teaching staff have professional teaching credentials in addition to university degrees and master's degrees in many instances. One of the most frequently heard comments about IIS staff is that they are “caring yet professional”. IIS invests significantly in the professional development of staff which is one of the reasons many people choose IIS as a place for career development.
At IIS you will find the faculty and staff enthusiastic about their work and very supportive of the school’s Mission. There are many nationalities represented on staff with teachers from Taiwan, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, and South Africa to name a few.

I-Shou International School has made a commitment to supporting staff professional development that seeks to find a balance between externally provided conferences and workshops being supplemented by internal peer mentoring and coaching.
IIS is regular host to IB conferences, international guests and external professional development teams to provide faculty the ability to evolve and grow in line with best practice and in accordance to the school mission and vision.
Internal professional development takes place in the form of coaching and mentoring by dedicated personale. Technology integration is a key focus of the school and each member of staff is supported by a Technology Integration Coach to support and complement their classroom practice. Internal professional development courses are provided by qualified on staff IB trainers and support staff.
We provide significant learning opportunities for our faculty and staff through our emphasis on professional learning. We support the staff in attending workshops and conferences off site as well as providing numerous opportunities for teacher facilitated learning on campus.
