Transportation
A journey to something special
Getting to and from IIS
Experienced expats and discerning parents understand that the best school for their child isn't always next door. Some will say that location is a prime filter when choosing a school, but at IIS convenience has never been a measure of excellence. Sometimes the destination is simply more important than the journey. Our students experience an education like nowhere else in Kaohsiung, with I-Shou University facilities and atmosphere so close, IIS students are immersed in the finest of educational environments.

IIS works with the Eda Bus Company to transport hundreds of students to and from IIS each day. Modern, air-conditioned buses, equipped with video cameras and GPS tracking systems. More than a dozen buses service Kaohsiung city and surrounding areas, with 4 dedicated buses to Tainan City. While the length of the bus route for most students is between 30 minutes and 50 minutes, students living in more distant areas like Tainan may experience longer travel times. Fees are based on the distance from home to school.
Buses arrive at school between 7:45am and 8am and leave school at 5:10pm.
