義大焦點 IN FOCUS WEEK 12

01Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) Growth Assessments Grades 3-10

This week students in grades 3-10 completed their MAP Growth Assessments in English reading, language, math, and science. The MAP Growth Assessments are a computer based smart test which allows students to show their true potential. Teachers use the valuable data from the MAP Growth Assessments to make important decisions about student learning needs and to provide differentiated instruction. The MAP Family Reports will be sent to parents on May 27, 2022 by homeroom teachers. If parents have any questions they should contact their child’s homeroom teacher, Academic Office, or the Teaching and Learning Office.

02Primary Department (PD) All Star Week 2022

Students enjoyed the lunchtime fun! Dir. Nick and teachers facilitated 4 activities; “A Drop in the Bucket”, “High Flyer”, “Empire Strikes Back”, and “Beanbag Bomber”. Students answered math questions and hit targets with balls, paper airplanes, lightsabers, and beanbags throughout the week.

Congratulations to Kenny, David, and Alexander who earned 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and to all of our PD All Stars who competed!
