02The IB Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop was successfully held at I-Shou International School from May 1–3

Educators and school representatives from across the Asia-Pacific region gathered at I-Shou to exchange educational insights and spark innovative thinking.

This event was not only a great honor but also represented a significant milestone in advancing international education.

We were thrilled to welcome everyone to Taiwan!

03A Tangle of Creativity: Celebrating Student Agency at ISIP

Students at the I-Shou International Preschool engaged in our famed Taiwanese Culture Day, an event centered on traditional customs and hands-on activities.

The day was filled with high-energy excitement as our young learners tested their aim by shooting a pig target with a bow and arrow, a nod to ancestral traditions. Next, the students continued with classic night-market favorites, including ring toss and fishing.

It was a joy to see our students engaged in these cultural games and embracing the beautiful spirit of Taiwan.

04Primary Department Language Talent Show

Our Primary students impressed the audience with their confidence, strong stage presence, and fluent use of language.

From preparation to performance, we saw that language is not just for communication—it’s a powerful way to express who they are.

05Grade 7 Design Students Explore Taiwanese Culture Through Shadow Puppet Workshop

The Kaohsiung Don-Hua Shadow Puppet Troupe returned to campus to lead an inspiring workshop for our International Secondary Department Grade 7 students.

Through hands-on design and puppet-making, students explored the rich traditions of Taiwanese shadow puppetry while bringing their own creative ideas to life.

06I-Shou Alumni Supporting Future Doctors

The Secondary Bilingual Department was honored to welcome distinguished alumna Dr. Mu-Hsin Yang, an anesthesiologist at Chi Mei Medical Center, back to campus. She guided students advancing to medical school interviews, offering insights and strategies for success.

Through her mentorship, we hope our future candidates will stand out with confidence and continue the legacy of excellence at SBD.

07Wednesday, April 22 was Earth Day

Our MYP Grades 6-8 students joined thousands of students around the world in taking action!

Students chose one of six activities to participate in: Community Clean-Up, Paper-Making, Design Building Challenge, Virtual Reality Ocean exploration, Science Water-Filtration Experiment, or a documentary film about ocean creatures.

Through these hands-on actions, our students challenged themselves, embraced new experiences, and made positive contributions to both our local and global communities.
