02I-Shou 2025 School Anniversary Day Successfully Concluded Thank You for Creating Something Wonderful Together

This year’s school anniversary day was truly blessed with perfect weather—cool temperatures and clear skies provided an ideal setting for all our events.

We honored students celebrating their tenth year of enrollment, while parents enthusiastically joined the house color activities, parent–child fun games, and the popular fun fair, filling the campus with laughter and warmth.

Several alumni also returned to campus to host fair booths and interact with current students, adding a meaningful sense of connection. The teacher talent show was another highlight, showcasing teachers’ talents beyond the classroom and receiving warm applause.

All proceeds from the charity fair will be donated to the Children’s Hearing Foundation, extending the warmth of our celebration beyond campus.

We sincerely thank all parents, students, alumni, faculty and staff for their participation and support. We look forward to celebrating together again next year.

03Celebrating Together: ISIP Joins the I-Shou Anniversary Fun!

What better way to celebrate I-Shou International School’s Anniversary Day than by welcoming our youngest learners and their families!

Under the energetic guidance of our esteemed PE Teachers, Tr. Kiwi and Tr. Pudding, students and parents teamed up for delightfully engaging partner activities, which saw children climbing on parents and parents lifting their little ones in joyful camaraderie!

04I-Shou Primary Department’s “Ninja Warrior” week was a great success!

Throughout the activities, students practiced with dedication, embraced challenges with courage, and encouraged one another. In the end, we held competitions to select the Ninja Boy and Ninja Girl from each grade level. Let’s give a big round of applause to all participating students and teachers.

05The JASA Ensemble from I-Shou International School was invited to perform a charity concert at E-Da Cancer Hospital's Rehabilitation Center on December 10th

Dedicating a heartwarming afternoon to patients and their families undergoing rehabilitation.

This was more than just a musical performance; it was a deeply meaningful life lesson in social engagement for the students!

Highlights of the Heartwarming Moment:

• The repertoire included pieces like Waltzing Matilda, Libertango, Lanyang Dance, and a Christmas Medley, touching the audience with sincere melodies.

• Many patients, some assisted by medical staff in wheelchairs or even having their beds moved closer, came to feel the power of the music. Every applause was the deepest encouragement to the students.

The JASA Ensemble, formed independently by the students, has grown from fledgling musicians to public performers, demonstrating not only musical skill but also responsibility and empathy. Parents are proud that their children have learned to use their abilities to bring comfort to others.

I-Shou International School will continue to guide students to integrate "learning" with "social participation," allowing education to thrive through every warm interaction. The JASA Ensemble will keep engaging in charity performances, letting music be a medium that connects people and delivers strength!

07I-Shou Student Won the Spelling Bee Championship in Kaohsiung City

Students from the International Secondary Department and the Secondary Bilingual Department participated in the Kaohsiung City Junior High School Spelling Bee Contest for the 2025–2026 school year, competing against top English learners from schools across the city.

G9 Joe and G8 Karen from the ISD, as well as G8 Kalen from the SBD, advanced to the final round. In the end, Karen, an 8th grader from the ISD, stood out among 120 contestants and claimed the title of Kaohsiung City’s Spelling Bee Champion.

Congratulations to Karen on this impressive achievement!

08Breaking News I-Shou Equestrian Stars Dominate National Competitions

A huge round of applause for our equestrian athletes from I-Shou International School! They demonstrated outstanding performance in the Show Jumping competitions, bringing home multiple championships!

2025 FEI Jumping World Challenge & National Open Competition

• Elsa: Swept the Open division, capturing dual championships in both the 60cm and 80cm classes

• Amber: Secured the 40cm championship in the Novice division

• Nina: Took home the gold in 50cm class

National Show Jumping Championship

• Nina: Claimed the championship in the 70cm class

Let's celebrate these three brilliant students shining brightly in the equestrian world! They exemplify superb horsemanship and a spirit of continuous self-challenge.

We also look forward to seeing Elsa, our Primary student, continue to excel in the arena as I-Shou’s brightest new equestrian star.
