02Spring Events at the ISIP

During the months of April and May the students and teachers at the ISIP have been busy engaging in meaningful events and activities.

Most recently, the students were thrilled to invite their parents to our Mother’s Day Sharing of Learning events where children prepared songs, presentations, and hand made gifts for their mothers.

During April the ISIP community  was busy completing a variety of Earth Month challenges to learn about ways to act sustainably and take care of our planet. On Earth Day itself, students planted a flower, and had a lights-off morning to conserve energy.

Another exciting annual event was the ISIP Floor is Lava Championship. Students try their best to complete a challenging course and not touch the ground. This requires thinking skills and patience. Congratulations to all participants!

03The Grade Six students use potatoes to light an LED as they learn how batteries work in series and parallel circuits

They also learn how to use a multimeter to measure current, voltage, and resistance.

04Bernie of ISD Grade 9 Clinched High Honors at the 2023 Ivy Cup Fall Semi-Finals

The Ivy International Events Committee of the United States spearheaded this essay writing contest open to both Junior and Senior High School Divisions. Bernie will move on to the finals where he will once again compete with students all over the world.

Congratulations, Bernie, and best of luck in your upcoming competition!

05We were pleasantly surprised by the unexpected visit of our Thai graduate alumnus, Ohm, to campus

Throughout his time at IIS, Ohm was a familiar presence, regularly engaging in Ultimate Frisbee on campus.

Since then, he has risen to become a distinguished athlete, proudly representing Thailand on the international stage.
