06Celebrating Christmas

It has been a very special Christmas season at the ISIP. Aside from the Winter Concert, there have been a variety of experiences offered to allow students to feel the Christmas spirit.

The ISIP students showed how caring they were by supporting the Primary Department in their fundraiser for a local animal shelter. Students have been bringing in supplies, toys, and food throughout the week. On Christmas day, the ISIP students were greeted by a magical visitor, Santa Claus. Santa visited each classroom and had gifts for all the students on his nice list!

On Christmas afternoon, the students had fun participating in Christmas-themed learning stations. We know our students enjoyed this holiday season, and from everyone at the ISIP, we wish you a Merry Christmas!

07Exploring the Authorial Purposes of Different Texts

Connected to the theme of Unit of Inquiry (UOI) "How We Express Ourselves”, we comprehend that literature is also one of the art forms that we use to express ourselves.

Grade 3 students explore text types encountered in daily life, and further contemplate the authors' creative purposes, categorizing different texts into three authorial purposes: persuasion, entertainment, and information.

08It is always wonderful when our alumni pop in!

Back from their studies in Australia on their summer vacation, it’s great to see our students doing so well. They always speak with great affection about our school and the teachers.
