01"Year of Inquiry" School Anniversary Celebration - Saturday, October 14
Student representatives from each House (Aethra, Aqua, Ignis, Terra) participated in a myriad of exciting contests and activities. Parents and alumni enthusiastically attended, cheering for their respective families!
02I-Shou International School is honored to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with National Nanke International Experimental High School
The representatives of NNIEH are Principal Ming Hui Tsai, Director Ci Feng Huang, and FRC Head Coach Wen Hong Tsai. Principal Roger Lee, Director of the Educational Technology Office, Julia Romeril, and the Manager of STEM Education, Zoe Tsai, represented IIS.
03The ISIP Mini Olympics
Last Friday, the ISIP children competed in the 2nd annual Mini Olympics. This was a really fun event for students who competed in running, cycling, throwing, and jumping events. Students who were the best in their class received gold, silver, or bronze medals in the closing ceremony celebrations.
This was a great way for students to feel the joy of competition and work on their motor skills. At the ISIP we actively seek ways to support the holistic development of our students and learning through sport is a great way to do so. Congrats to all the winners and participants.
04"How to resolve conflict"
Tr. Lisa and Tr. Julia from the second grade shared with the students how to deal with conflicts in life and taught them how to cooperate and share through group work.
Finally, they presented their group work to the whole class and explained the meaning behind their work.
05I-Shou Interact - White Cane Event
Congratulations, Interact, for hosting an excellent service learning event that raised both money and awareness regarding the visually impaired.
This event promoted empathy by allowing participants to experience a variety of musical performances through the perspective of those who are visually impaired.
06Research and Inquiry Course, Mid-Semester Exhibition
Secondary Bilingual Department Grade 7-10 students shared with the IIS senior leadership team their research proposals in the Mid-semester Exhibition of the Research and Inquiry course.
"Microplastics", “Medical Science & Viruses”, “Physics & Mechanical Engineering” and “Green House Effect & Thermohaline Circulation” were the four main topics that students focused on for their proposals.
Students demonstrated confidence and creativity in their presentations. They will continue their research journey with the feedback and suggestions provided by the senior leadership team.
07General Scholastic Ability Test Blessing Ceremony in Secondary Bilingual Department
With the Grade 12 national GSAT less than 100 days away, the SBD hosts a special blessing event. During this event, students declare their desired universities, and teachers offer their blessings to students.
The poster is filled with everyone's goals and the well-wishes of the teachers, hoping to motivate and support the Grade 12 students as they strive for success!
08I-Shou Calligraphy Class
After the eighth-grade students completed the calligraphy appreciation course in Culture, Civilization and Self (CCS), they began imitating brush calligraphy for the first time this week.
Everyone was very excited and practiced diligently. Some students even used brush pens for painting, and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Several students collaborated to construct various types of vessels, including cruise ships, yachts, and even battleships, using PET bottles, tape, and other materials.
