Entry Requirements
I-Shou International School is a selective school. We assess all students with great care to ensure that they will thrive in our ambitious and academically challenging environment.
The Assessment Process and Selection Criteria vary according to the age of the child and the entry point into the school.
The pre-conditions for admission of all students are:
- The Applicant is of the appropriate age (see table below)
- The Applicant has successfully satisfied the selection criteria
- The School has a place available in the appropriate year group
- The enrolment fees and first term's Tuition are paid in full
- Parents accept, in writing, the School's Terms & Conditions

INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Taiwanese students
- Household Registration Card Copy
- Passport Copy
- Transfer Certificate or Graduation Certificate
- Official transcripts or report cards from the previous two academic years or authorized Report Cards by TECO
International Students
- Alien of Resident Card (ARC) Copy
- Passport Copy
- Authorized Report Cards by TECO (Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office)
- Medical and Health Insurance for at least 6 months
Age and Grade Levels
Students joining the school are placed in a given grade level according to their age. The cut-off date that determines grade placement is September 1st. For example, Students must be 6 years of age by September 1st of the current academic year to be placed in grade 1, 7 years of age by September 1st to join grade 2, etc.
