Continued excellence through school improvement
I-Shou International School was founded by Mr. Lin I-Shou, the chairman of the E-United Group. Mr. Lin holds a deep respect for education and has promoted a philosophy of respecting life and upholding wisdom through the foundation of a complete education system. This vision began with the formation of Kaohsiung Polytechnic in 1986, the establishment of I-Shou University in 1997 and would continue with founding I-Shou International School in 2004.
Mr. Lin wished to express gratitude to the tender, loving care of his mother, and the great importance of educating and caring for the next generation.
I-Shou International School opened its doors in 2004 and quickly became a leader in education and teaching practice in Southern Taiwan.

I-Shou International school embarked upon an ambitious program of school development including the planning and organization for the opening of our new middle school in September 2018; the development of a best practices technology plan for enriching, reinforcing, and supporting classroom curriculum and 21st century skills learning processes; and expanding our athletic and activities programs to reinforce the academic mission of our school while further preparing students for success in adulthood.
IN 2018 AND BEYOND
I-Shou's focus on "continuous school improvement" has allowed for the introduction of a Grades 7-12 dual track model that gives students the opportunity to build a "super-curricular profile"that fits their university/college of choice.
Program innovations in technology, the use of analytics and student data to improve performance, and the inclusion of STEM and Social Emotional Learning into the school curriculum have been introduced in service to our students and school community.
